Lucozade Join List Of Tournament Sponsors

At the Simply The Best event last year at Elsham, Lucozade visited the venue to look at getting involved with Paintball. we are pleased to announce that at last they have agreed to come on board and are going to sponsor the Series 2005 events for the rest of the season.

Steve Bull will announce further details soon, but it is great to have yet another out of industry sponsor on board.

We are just awaiting final confirmation of the sponsorship deal.

Teams winning their divsions will recieve a case of Lucozade sports at the next event, this has been confirmed but there is more in the pipeline.

Red Bull

Well done on the Lucozade deal.

But just to mention, seems kinda silly supplying to sport drink after the entire event has taken place. In the states you get the likes of gatorade/powerade (Lucozades American equivalent) sponsoring events and dishing the stuff out to the players with banners everywhere, surely the idea is to get the players drinking it and showing how it aids them in their fight to the podium?!

We had Red Bull come to one of the recent TPC events, they had the Red Bull chicks wandering around, dishing out free cans (Regular AND Sugar Free for those back players ) and flashing their big........banners.

I don't know what the TPC/Red Bull arrangement was, but it was cool as they were dishing out the bevvies throughout the day, so I was bouncing off the wall after a few cans. I'm positive I was reaching double my usual ROF!!

Next event

Red Bull have done a couple of my events in the past as well as Shark, Red Devil etc..

The drinks will be awarded at one event but supplied at the next so the teams who won the cases will have them to drink during the day. If I gave then at the presentation they would probably just take them home and I would like to see the teams drinking the product if the sponsors appear at the venue. Hope this makes sense.

Totally. Makes plenty of sense to me. Main idea is to promote the sponser to the masses - gotta be seen drinking, and enjoying it.
