Mooching round the 50, with the flag
Hi folks

I'm after a bit of technical advice regarding the Lucky Ace chip I have in my DM4, it's got a bunch of pre-programmed modes including one that appears to be millenium legal aside from the fact that it's on the old 15 bps cap.

Onto my question, if i set the pre-programmed millenium mode and then set the rof cap to 11 will this make it millenium legal for the current round? or does the pre-programmed mode override this setting?

I can drop it back to 10 bps for subsequent rounds after that.

cheers

Changing a setting always overwrites the previous one.

So if you set it to millenium, then adjust the rate of fire.
You will get millenium with an adjusted rate of fire.

If my memory servers, on the old millenium mode the kick in for ramping was 7.5bps. Now its dropped to 6.

So yours will be a little harder to get ramping than it needs to be.
That setting is programmed into the firemode. You would have to get it flashed to the latest version to rectify that.

6 for the 2008 rules, 5 for the 2009 rules @ 10(.5) bps FYI

The 09/09 rules also call for the first 3 shots to be in semi, so old 15.4 code won't accommodate this!
Does it have 1 second ramp restart?
If so then you could use PSP mode.

Millenium change their firemode rules more often than I change my pants lol.

Really the simplest answer is just to get your chip flashed to the 09 version.
Then millenium will be millenium and you dont have to worry about it being incompatible.

Cap for the NSPL round 2 is 12 so setting it at 11 will be OK, I use a stock etek for my main marker and have that set on Mode 5 which is a 7.5 bps pull to ramp, with an 11.9 bps cap. It was OK last year for the masters so I'll carry on with that.

The Dm4 is there for a backup and I'll use the mill setting with 11 bps for this round, dropping them both down to 10 (or 10.4) for the next one, keeps things nice and simple, I seriously doubt I could get ramping to kick in by the second or third shot.
