Mooching round the 50, with the flag
I think I may have right royally f*cked things up here but I'll chance my luck...

1. Problem one - This is the biggy just got a T-board but when installing it (damn tight fit by the way) I managed to bust the cover (and maybe the switch itself) for the trigger, and ideas on what I can do??

OK well thanks to a visit to maplin ad a lot of fiddling about I have manged to repair the switch, thankfully only the top section was cream-crackered so once I fund a suitbable replacement switch I stripped the required piece of and put onto the existing switch component on the board, a quick tweak with some pliers and we're back in business...:D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

2. Problem 2 - not so major probably one that John C or Lucky Tech might know. I've go a 5.1 body and once installed all I get is a pfffft through the grip (nothing through the barrel) when I pull the trigger, std board, std frame, air system has 2000psi, input pressure on the gauge is around 160psi, dwell on the board I think is about 30. I get the occasional shot firing, no evidence of any leaks.

Slight change in this one now, I've stripped and lubed the assembly but now I get a single shot and then air leaks down the barrel, when taking the bolt apart the 7x2 viton o-ring at the rear of the bolt has blown out it's ridge.

Any advice please...

One of the main problems is the cone where the 7x2 slides make sure that is lubed just putting lubr on the oring isnt enough use your little finger to wipr lube inside it.

What happens is the oring drags so much it rolls out of its groove then on the return stroke gets trapped.

I'll take a look.

I did notice that the bolt is cycling but there's hardly any force behind it.

What's up with the lucky forums as they have the install instructions which I could really use about now....

What's a good psi and dwell setting for the 5.1 ?

p.s. feedback left for you Ion crazy :)

Im not sure what installation instructions were there but it should be quite straightforward. You just attach the new 5.1 to your old gripframe, then connect up the pipes and wires.

Operating pressure should be around 200PSI. Dwell 14(QEV) 32(stock).
More of a correct assembly order and what bits to lube and where, I know there's not much to actually go on but I could use any advice, guidance.

For instance the hollow tube which fits over the bolt assembly has a groove cut into one end, which way round does this go?

And also the lubing of the inside of the cone that lucky tech has mentioned.

that sort of thing :)

The bolt stop will only fit in the tube one way. If you put it on the other way it will go in too far and not sit flat.

Put the Bolt stop in the tube, bolt in the bolt stop and then that entire peice just slides into the gun.

As for lubing, you give all the orings a light coating and the cone (the part of the bolt that 'corks' the boltstop) should have a smear of grease all over it.

I think it was the lube in the cone I was missing as I did this last night and the gun was cycling a treat, right up the the point where it sliced the o-ring though I put this down to it probably having some damage already. Just need those o-ring kits through from Ion-crazy and I should be sorted.

T-board still not right but I'm working on that.

cheers chaps.
