In general you don't need to fully strip and lube an Ego after every time you play, maintenance is pretty infrequent. Generally after each day's play I'd remove the bolt, clean it and put a couple drops of oil on the orings. If you had any paint breaking in the breach then also remove the eyes and give them a clean. Other maintance like lubing the rammer (oil) and the LPR & HPR (grease) should be done less often, every 2-3 events although that depends on how much you shoot.
Is there an official service interval for lubing the rammer, LPR and HPR on an ego? How many 1000 shots? Of course if there's anything doing wrong you'd clean and lube and replace o-rings/seals but I'm thinking what if the gun is shooting well (which they normally do)
I tend to clean bolt and rammer after each day of use, drop of oil on o rings drop on lever .
Clean eyes if dirty, leave otherwise .
Takes 5 min..
Clean and re lube reg after 2/3 games.10 min.
New battery 2/3 games.
Keeps it running sweet as a nut.
Of course it depends how much you shoot but in my time owning and running egos I've NEVER felt the need to pull apart either reg during the day between games. I might do it between events but no more frequently than 5-10k shots
