Lubing a G7 Fly with an evil scion air (no ASA)

Hi, sorry for the potentially dumb question but i've got a G7 Fly and obviously need to lube it every now and again, now the air system i'm using is an evil scion air rather than a preset so instead of screwing into an ASA where i could put a few drops of oil in and dry fire it the whole system fits to a rail on the bottom of the grip and the macroline goes into the reg there...

now i was just wondering (and this isn't something i'd try without a very definite yes) whether anyone knew if instead of putting the few drops of marker oil into the ASA whether you could put it into the macroline before dry firing and if not if there is any other way of doing this without taking the marker apart...

Degass marker, and unscrew the LPR cap(left chamber if your pointing marker away from you)
Put a couple of drops of love juice in there, replace end cap.
Dry fire 30-50 shots.(without barrel or hopper)wipe down breech and bolt of any excess oil.
Or
Open breech , place cloth over ram/valve area, dry fire.(saves from having to wipe down breech and bolt).

Literally, yes you can.

However, if you're taking the hose out of the fitting, dropping oil in it and then sticking the hose back in, you are then relying on a newly oiled fitting gripping your hose

If you're going to do it, then put the oil into the hose, and not the fitting, plus keep the hose very clean before you reinsert it.

eh?? lol, when you open the breach block, you put a drop or two of love juice in the forward hole! ya dont need to take the lpr caps off!

dont dry fire gun oil through the asa or macro line on all the angels all you need to do is drop one or to drops in the breach fire once and leave till next time (personaly i hardly ever oil any of my angels just use and throw back in the bag till next week )

good tip about the cloth though

yes, a couple of drops in the forward hole , to give the valve stem a quick lube.
Putting a couple of drops in the LPR chamber helps lube around the noid and ram .

Thanks a lot for all the replies...i must admit the fact that there'd be oil around the macroline fitting was one of the reasons i suspected it would be a bad idea...

I've been looking through the manual as well and i think a lot of it makes sense now, i can see what you mean with the LPR chamber and i'm assuming the forward hole is the one leading to what looks to be the exhaust valve in the right-hand chamber when the breech block is open and the breech is the section which the bolt slides through?

I've always dropped 2 drops of love juice in the macroline and 2 drops in the exhaust hole of ALL the Angels I have ever owned.

Never had any problems.
