Lube on the manifold gasket and solenoid gasket?

Hey,

Just as the title says really. Are you supposed to pop a layer of lube on top of the gaskets on Ego 11's?

only a light layer of grease to keep the rubber soft, however it won't make much of a difference if you don't put any on as long as you tighten it down well. but basically less is more

Yeh I did but the darn thing didnt say lube it...it just said remove all dirt and debris :S but anyway now i know to apply the lubricant

good way to think of these things is if it moves, it will need lubricated. where the gasket is just a seal that doesn't move its very rarely going to need to be maintained but a little tiny bit of lube doesn't hurt.
