Hi Guys and Gals

Recently got my first marker, Empire mini gs
Just wondering how regularly I should lube the gun if I am playing once a month?
And when I do should I cake it on or will a fine smear suffice?

Played my first walk on event at Bassetts Pole last weekend and was having major feed issues both with the gun and hopper  would cleaning the eyes possibly solve the problem at the marker end?

The loader I am using as a Halo Too, tried to program it best I could on the day but to no avail, does anyone know what the number of blinks mean? i.e. 1 flash = 5bps etc.. plus sound sensitivity and ball stack??

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Many Thanks

HALO manual:

http://www.paintballsolutions.com/pdf/manuals/halo/halo_too_manual.pdf

I can’t remember specifically but don’t recall that the flashes directly relate to BPS but a relative motor speed.

Sound sensitivity lets the hopper know when you’re shooting so that it can stop pushing the balls if you aren’t shooting then ready itself when you are.
Put this to the lowest that seems to work

The ball stack should be on (2 flashes). This means that if a line of balls are stacked ready then it shouldn’t add any motor pressure on them, then once you’ve fired a shot it will feed another ball ready

I can’t remember the defaults, so if in doubt go for something midway such as 3 and then consider going lower if it still works
So try speed 2 or 3, sound 2 or 3, stack 2

If you’re double feeding or balls are being pressurized then the settings are too high, if it can’t feed as fast as you shoot then up it

Cleaning the eyes will help if that’s an issue
Try slow single shots, some faster shots and then a rapid stream. Single shots should have no issue as a ball should always be ready, if it’s failing at high speed then either you’re too fast or something is lacking

Maintenance can vary, some people can seem get away with never touching, others are at it all of the time
A little smear whenever is far better than smothering
