I understand the difference between LO and HI to the extent of pressure only.
What markers specifically use Hi as opposed to LO.
The reason I ask is that I'm after a couple of bottles for an ION and an ETEK.
Now on those what would I use? Could I use either and what are the comparable benefits if any between the two.
Yes a very noob question but I never really thought about it.....Cheers...;)

dm's work on low pressure but the weather in uk is cold most of the time so when i tried lp on mine it did nothing.but apart from quieting the marker down and your bottle lasting a couple of pods longer there is no real advantage

So good he said it thrice!:D

Yeah hp is best for these, you get a higher output pressure (hence hp) and it gives you a better recharge rate so minimises drop off at high rates of fire. (doesn't work for every marker though, but for these i'm sure it does)

That about the limit of my knowledge anyway and i'm sure a forum nerd can expand on this:)

ego, cocker, ions, shockers, nerves, borgs all run better on hp.

angels, timmies, timmie clones like the nme all prefer lp unless its an angel 1 where you can use either to the same effect.

As i Understand it ,it's all about headroom ,If you have a Reg with 850PSI (HP) in it and you are reducing the pressure by say 140 PSI per shot you have enough spare pressure for a few shots before the reg has to be recharged ..

If you are running LP at 450PSI you have less shots before you need the reg recharged hence why many markers will run with both HP and LP, but manufacturers specify HP as it adds an extra layer of protection against drop off (not enough pressure in the vert reg).

Angel however has the balls to use a vert reg that prefers a lesser pressure ,I dont know why but i assume its because they are comfortable with there vert regs quality ;).

Crossfire LP regs are the only ones i know of that are reccomedable for running a HP marker on a LP reg.

of course I could be completely wrong but If I am we will soon find out.

Nerd out...
