lp or hp reg how can you tell for sure?

I have been given a centre flag lp reg for my 05 speed but was later told that it was a hp reg.

I have no reason to doubt either party.
Can any one tell me how to be certain of the output pressure of a reg or maybe where to take it to have it confirmed.

not all regs have the output on them, although some do.

the way i do it is buy a 0-1200 psi gauge from planet or wherever (about a tenner) and screw it into an old on/off asa -(same thread as a macroline fitting ) this now gives you a pretty accurate psi op tester

Hey James - its definately a low pressure output mate - i can promise you

Next time you see Shep - use his Asa which he has blocked off and guaged, will tell you exactly what its outputting as

the hi pressure reg body is the shape of a nut and lo pressure is round.
