LP on an 05 ego?

Hi people,
I was wondering if anyone could offer some advice, i have just got an 05 ego and will need to run it off my 4500psi 68ci crossfire air system with LP (blue) reg.
Is this ok as i was advised that the lp crossfire systems were still well suited to markers like the ego's which are hp markers....or will i need to look into trading/buying a hp air system.

it will work but hp is far better(no shootdown, better consistancy etc etc etc)......search for the best tank thread....theres a couple of pages there that will help...take note of lovetone....the man knows his beans

Crossfire LP will keep up with the 05 ego no problem at all ..no hp tank necessary..

However 'other' brands of LP tanks (regs) may not, so HP is recommended...

run my ego on an evil air scion LP adjustable set to 500psi with no shoot down, even in uncapped full auto. after all this was the air system that nexus used with their egos

Its all about the recharge rate of the reg. Crossfire LP have the edge on most other tanks in recharge terms. Planet advise againt using low pressure because of the obvious problems of lesser regulators that cannot keep up.

Also, to the originator of the thread, LP Crossfire is the only LP reg that is said to work fine,so yeah, go for it. Seeing as you already own the Crossfire, why not give it a whirl?
