Hi, im new to paintball, well... in a way that i now have a gun but....

I recently got a second hand impy with LP maxflow. Ive seen it work and everything but while reading the maxflow manual i got confused

It says i must turn the spring cap inward (clockwise) to increase pressure. However before I put my CO2 onto it to avoid blowing the solenoid the pressure should be decreased.

But which way is off?? Should I turn the spring cap as if I am unscrewing it (but the cap eventually comes off), Or screw inwards till the thread eventually isnt visible???

I hope you understand what i mean. I did try looking for a similar thread but I couldnt find one.

I can see how you're getting confused, the maxflow will already be set for the impy, so when you change bottles you won't need to change the setting. A good tip is to open the co2 bottle's valve slowly. If you do need to change the output from the maxflow, the large nut at the end of the maxflow needs to be turned into the reg to increase the pressure, and turned out away from the reg to decrease the pressure. You don't need to move the nut very far to get the required change in pressure, so don't go wild.

Hope this helps.

There's usually a brass pressure vent on maxflows, that vents off the over pressure, if you set it too high. It's about 3/4" long and 1/2" diameter.
