Right,

So the year has ended in the states, the dust has settled on the final event and now the talk has really started about what's going to go on next year. And here's the thing, one of the most consistent things we hear is that BPS limits will go down for next year - to 12 or maybe even 10 bps.

The arguments are the usual ones, of making things more affordable (both for teams and paint sponsors) making the games more exciting (see SD finals) and various other things.

But what do you think? is it a good answer to the money troubles at the top? do you actually care as long as the playing field is level? will you break out the e-cockers again?

Over to the floor...

I think it would reduce how much money is spent but in turn would cost business's more as they wont sell as much.

In my opinion i see no need to.

it would have a whole lot more difference to PSP, at which i would say yes, but not for NPPL, but thats just a gut feeling kinda thing :)

persoanlly i think 15 is fine any lower it would be boring and to obvious if im bonuse balling some one :-P

and im shure as things go the paint sponcers would NOT be happy higher bps more paint shot equall more profit even if that means there pro teams shoot loads there still going to make shure there selling more than there giving away there not stupid

less bps could incourage more movement /vice versa...

still happy with 15 bps but wouldnt mind increasing to 20bps.

12bps is a good idea. i would be happy with pump guns out on the field :D it would definately speed the game up in that movement would be more free flowing and loads more bunkering would happen. would be easier to spot gun cheats also. 12bps i reckon would be easier to spot than 15bps with ramping and the such.

thing about this is the US paint prices and they are concerned about dropping to say 10/12 bps. get them to come play over here for a day and pay our prices

i hope they keep it as it is, i like shooting my gun and i personally think it would make things too easy, like somebody previously stated is would have a huge impact on the PSP/PA/milleniums, the games would be quite a bit quicker im guessing as you will have more freedom to move about and what not
