if i chop the bottom off my halo b neck to fit it flush with the top of my dm4 feedneck, will it screw stuff up or what?

if it doesn't affect anything, why don't they just ship the hopper with a shorter neck for a lower profile??

im not sure if it does effect the way it works but all feed necks are made universally :p just like the ol' egg, the neck is ridiculously long on that when its new :p

It will on the egg. If you cut it half a ball shorter, then it may overdrive.

its not just the length of the hopper neck you have to consider, it is also the length of your feedneck as that also contains some of the paint stack
