I now have an agel a1 and it I understand it needs a low pressure tank, not really sure about these, do they need to be filled from a different fill tank? Are they more expensive? Just generally dont know about them and some info would be much appreciated :)

The only difference is the reg outputs at a lower pressure, depending on manufacturers between 200 - 300psi rather than the normal 800psi. Other than that they are identical to any other air system out there. If you get a Pure Energy / Empire reg you can buy a shim kit to drop them from HP to LP. However if your not confident with air systems I'd suggest buying one already done for you.

Does it effect the way it shoots then? Also can it be filled by the normal air that is used for hpa tanks

The bottle is the same either a 3000/4500 bottle and is filled exactly the same as there is no difference.

The only difference is the out put pressure of the regulator on the bottle.
Most are preset to 850psi which your marker further reduces to its final working pressure.
LP regulators run about 450/500 psi out put pressure as the markers such as the A1 prefer this and the markers regs have 'less work' to complete.

Some modern markers such as the Bob Longs need very low pressure of about 300psi.

Alternatively you can shim mod you Angel reg to run standard out pressures as well.

You just need a bottle regulator, Ninja are the best bar none. BZ, LIPS sell these.
The rationale is if you use a HP reg then generally the marker's reg cannot get the pressure low enough to fire it under 280/300fps
You'll need an airsmith to fit it, dive shops maybe able to help you.
Don't mess with HPA if you're not qualifiied!
