Hoping this has not been covered already and am just asking repetitive questions but..... What is the use of a low pressure reg? What does it do and is it suited to all guns or only some? Been hearing more and more about them but just can't seem to get my head around them and work out if they hold any advantage, if it helps I have a PE GEO 3.5 and that's the the reg would be used on?

Some guns require a lower than 800psi (which is the most common reg output) to work, hence mid and low pressure kits/regs are available. All electro/pneumatic guns will have an inline reg on them to reduce the bottle reg pressure to the guns working pressure and most will have an LPR (low pressure reg) to reduce it even further for the solenoid. Some inline gun regs may not work properly if the input pressure is to low.
The manual for your gun should tell you what input pressure your gun can work off.
