loose air bottle

just emptied my air bottle on my shiny new ion for the first time. now the connection is loose, is the because there is no pressure on it? there also seemed to be a little air hissing from the barrel in the end, is this normal?

quite possibly due to no pressure in the bottle.

I had the same thing happen as soon as i filled the bottle up it was fine.Just did it when low pressure in bottle.

Indeed, if the amount of air in the tank is particularly low then I don't think there will be enough to complete the full bolt motion, hence why you may be getting leaks.
