Train at CPPS if you can
Get 2nd hand gear where applicable.
budget for a decent mask, doesnt need to be new, but make sure the lense is good.
Get a reloader b or b2 loader, you can get them for around £20
Get a decent air system, 4500psi fibre wrap. Buy cheap on this and you will end up buying twice.

Hi Chris,

Unfortunately there are very few teams around the Nottingham Area that Play sup'air ball that I have been able to find whilst growing up there, the best bet I found is a team called Leicester Wildcats. They train just south of Leicester about once a month and a tournament within the same month, when I last saw them they had great help for you to get started with a kit deal which I will not go into. Best person to contact on this forum is Robof but the best thing you can do is to phone someone and to talk to them :)

Their Home Website - http://www.leicester-wildcats.co.uk/

As for woodsball - I've never gotten into it, but if your looking at staying in woodsball only then your best bet is to keep going to the as mentioned places and go to their walk on days where you will hopefully meet people and teams which you may be able to join. Alternatively there is a woodsball sub-forum which can be gotten to from the main forum home page, where you should hopefully be able to find a team of some sort.

Paintball takes a lot of time to travel and money so its great getting into it now, but if your parent lose interest your going to have to get a car to follow your dream... or find a friend who has a car :p

Best of Luck!

Hey Chris,
from what i've heard, Proto slg's tend to break fairly often. I'd recconmend an Invert Mini as i have one myself, they are incredibly accurate, small, light, tight and fast.
£282 on www.justpaintball.co.uk you can get the Invert Mini and a free VLocity hopper worth £70
check it out.
