slow down pal...looks like you are trying leap before you can walk mate.
go to your nearest site or sites ( have a long talk with the over twentys/thirtys i.e. people who have played for a few years ..old people to you) and i think you will have a new outlook on the game.
get yourself on a team and play the ranks then you will have a better idea of how a team runs... (no i am not in a team before you ask..and its by choice ) but have been playing for around 13 years so not a new boy either...all the best on your quest :)...john

  • To quote tincs, who has attended a walk on or two at tower paintball (the only site in London Bridge), which you refer to as London tower.......? Don't try to run before you can walk mate.
  • I'm a member of London Hazard, who are at present the only sup-air tournament team authorised by the owner and manager to train at this site, how do you plan to train there when neither the manager or owner have heard of your plans to train "alot" at tower paintball (www.towerpaintball.com cheeky plug :p).
  • Do you have any idea of the level of play/teamwork/skill/organisation/cost thats is needed and expected of you to even play in division 2 of the UK masters ? we train 4 times a month at tower HQ and are now training 1-2 times a month at HPG dagenham also, budget for at least 6-8 boxes of paint a month (dependent on what position you play/how you guys divide up overall or individual paint cost), plus green fee's plus spare pods, spare lenses, the list goes on......
  • Personally I think as a complete beginner, trying to start out running a team, organising other people, practices, tournament entry etc, with no experience of ever being in a team, means you are probably doomed from the start, I'm not trying to be pessimistic, just realistic.
I think you have been given some great advice by tincs here, he's hit the nail on the head, my only advice......take his advice!

Not at all, but I know the Owner and manager very well. I train there every week, I marshall there quite often, I'm going to staargate with the owner and a good mate of mine this weekend for a laugh, i'm there at least once or twice a week, and no one has heard anything about this guys plans to train at Tower paintball. I don't have a problem with other people wanting to train there, but the fact that he is telling everyone that he will be training there, without speaking to the manager or owner I find quite ridiculous, when he hasn't even enquired about when he would be able to train there, or how much it would cost etc, he should at least be honest to the people that he is recruiting for this team that he wants to create.
