Hi guys,

So i've got alot of gear now and im looking at purchasing a marker, just wanted some help on what im best going for brand new or second hand.

My budget is roughly 200-300 obviously we would all like to spend less and get the best possible for our buck!

So the markers ive been looking at are the Axe and Etha but would like some of the more experienced users input.

Thanks for your time!

It's always worth going down your local site and asking if you can try out a couple of markers to see what you think.

Ive used a DM 7 and they are nice to use. I'm sure you can pick up a DM 9 or similar for your price range.
The DM series are nice but a lot of it is down to personal choice

Between the etha and the axe personally I think the axe is far better. I haven't owned either but I have had a lot of high end markers. I was genuinely impressed with the axe and not so much with the etha. The obvious is to try and have a go with both before you buy but if you cant and solely going by peoples thoughts I would say an axe either new or second hand.

Not used a mini, I've mainly used scenario markers, a proto slg & a DM.

From what I've heard and read the mini is a good basic reliable starter marker and is good for new players an old alike.

If you want value for money look at a second hand Ego9, 10, 11, or Geo, these markers retailed at around £1000 at there time. I purchased 2 new starter markers before I realised what I paid I could have got a top end marker for the same price.
But again try a few...
