Looking at coming back

Apologies if this isnt in the right section, p8ntballer seems to have changed a lot since the last time I came on here.

After some years out, the itch has come back and I'm looking at getting back into paintball.
It seems like a lot has changed in the past few years, and most of my old balling buddies have left the game, McD/Ronnie, kellys etc

Im initially looking at coming to a few training events, around the Manchester Area, if possible to get rid of any dust on the old playing skills.

If anyone is interested in an ex Somanc/DCF lad tagging a long for some training sessions and then we can take it from there.

hey Kris long time no see!
if you dig around there are still a load of the old Manchester crowd around if you look hard enough! Ronnie has 2 sites now http://asylumpaintball.co.uk/ which run regular walk-ons and they have at least one team on the go.
Tournie wise the cppl is the place to be these days, real easy to get to (just off the m6) and very well presented and organised, Rich Harris (from the old bad touch team) is the man there, they also run training down there most weekends, check out their page on here or facebook for details, http://www.ballsoutpromotions.com/ theres always teams looking for players and if you are wanting to give tournies another go its an excellent place to start!

Like Jahlad says, Ronnie runs the two Aslyum sites in Stockport & Sheffield, and Glen runs his own business too. They have a great crew with them at the sites, so hit them up on Facebook!

Hey Kris!! Hope all is good!!
Lots has changed over the past few years.. We're all still hanging round paintball though as it gets in the blood and won't let go!! Mcd is working at justpaintball now and has two kids and a wife ( bet you didn't see that coming?) we got bored of not balling anymore and opened Asylum indoor as it never stops raining!! we're constantly trying to get players into tournaments so if we can help in anyway just give us a shout! Would highly recommend Cpps series.. Ritchie Harris (Bad Touch back in the day) runs them and he's doing a top job!! Loads of old faces still play, most our old team are in jail now so dodging other kinds of balls!! Pop in for a brew anytime!! Happy hunting and good luck!!

Could do with your advice on the gear needed nowadays, I presume things have changed since the somanc eblade days...

Anyone know if mario/pikka/charlie (ex SAD UK players) still hang around the scene?
