I just got a second hand marker from a local site and i'm looking to upgrade it a bit. i was thinking of a longer barrel and some other stuff. I don't know much about upgrading (this is my first marker) and any help would be much appreciated. My marker is a semi-auto mirage by the way.

cheers:)

That depends on what length barrel is on it now, i personally wouldn't go over 12" as they dont get any more accurate depending on length.

Barrel length isn't as important as the bore/paint fit, Philip is right in saying anything over 12" is pointless(that'll get some replys:D )
I use 12" Rekka's and the shoot as good as any other barrel and at about 1/2 the price.;)

Barrell length is all about prefence! some people find it easier to aim with a long barrell. Many pro players are now using longer barrels (Including RL + Dynasty) so that they can push the barrell into sup'air bunkers whilst shooting.

Sorry i dont know anything about the mirage..

I've heard that spares for mirages are hard to find (local site near me was selling somne ex-rental when I was looking to buy, so read up a little on the net). You might want to secure any suuplies of spare seals, springs, rings or bolts you can find first.
