I'm assuming this is the right section to ask questions as other messages seem to get moved. Anyone know of any sites in London city, not the outskirts, other than City Paintball(cos they won't let you play with ya own kit and for £35 for half a day......)
PLease let me know as I'm down there with work in Feb and what an opportunity to play.;)

I'll be staying in or around Walthemstowe. Don't really want to travel to far from the underground and there's gonna be two newbies with no kit with them.

There's also Campaign , 40 minutes by train from Waterloo to Effingham junction and Mayhem Essex who are on the end of the Central line and then a short bus hop.

Mayhem

Mayhem at Abridge.

you can get the Central Line to Theydon Bois and they will come and pick you up. You can get the central line from pretty near Walthamstow so should be quite easy for you.

One problem, unless your using Spider's or Tippmans they're unlikely to let you own gun (Angels and Impys etc a definite no no). Saying that though, it's staffed by pretty cool geezers who bend over backwards to help. Also they are setting up a Super Air training site, that you maybe able to train / play on.

Alternatively Wolf's Lair at LPS is indoor Super Air, and they have Own-gunner walk-ons / team training days. They also hold a once a month woodland walk-on which we try to goto (unless it's wet and nasty).

Since I go from Docklands, you can ponce a lift if you like (as long as you don't mind a white knuckle ride:D :D :D No point in the UK more than 4 hrs drive away).

It sounds as though CityPaintball although ideal for many of us, is only interested in holding Fat Bloater Corporate days out. It would be nice of once in every while they held a walk-on for own gunners (with appropriate paint prices) HINT HINT HINT;)

Anyway, hoes to get back too.

QuackingPlums,

I'm actually from a small town called "Straight outta Chafford Hundred", but I always get my mate from the new develpment right near Canary Wharf (big mortgage no car).

We did venture to the last Academy day (I was the small dude with Champagne IR3, me mate had the chrome electro cocker which was f*cked we were also 4 hours late), going through the middle of London was a right C U Next Tuesday. Will go round M25 next time

Not sure if I'm doing xmas one, but in New Year don't mind doing lift shares. When not playing Torunies we play as much as possible (most week-ends). Will post up on this board when and where!!

Laterz.

I was at the last academy too - probably wasn't standing too far away from you all day! I was the dude in the green MG, sat up by my mate Joff who had the Tippy98... I was in site camos that day but at xmas things will be different... :D

Sounds like you guys have been at it much longer than I have...!

Anyway, yeah, up for lift sharing in the new year, although as I say, I have an MG so might not be that useful if there's ever more than 2 of us...

(sorry, end of threadjack)

Dunno if this applies every sunday night, but the last time I drove home from sparklies along the M4 / M25 it took me 3 1/2 hours to get home (to Milton Keynes) bearing in mind it took me 1 hr 15 mins to get there in the morning including getting lost as it was my first Academy.

Added to that I was so tired & aching & it was dark & raining it was a miracle I didnt have an accident
