If you want to get from Heathrow to Central London quickly, take the Heathrow Connect rather than the Heathrow Express, it's around £8 but will get you into London Paddington in 20-25 minutes.

The Heathrow Express is £25 and takes 15 minutes. The tube from Heathrow takes ages and I think is about £7. not sure about that though.

Once in Paddington, it's tube time. the other thread will be helpful from here.

Make sure you check for engineering works at the weekend, they can seriously screw up your plans.

niallist seems to be the London travel expert around here; a quick look on http://www.nationalrail.co.uk/ suggests that you can take the underground from Heathrow in to central London and then a train out to either Basildon or Billericay stations, according to the venue's website http://www.barleylands.co.uk/contact_us/directions.htm there is a bus (number 100) service from Billericay Station to the venue.

However, Lump's suggestion is a good one, depending on what time your flight gets in I'm sure there will be someone else landing at or passing close to Heathrow. If your flight is around midday I will be passing on my way to the pre-event training session at Bricket Wood http://www.p8ntballer-forums.com/vb/newreply.php?do=postreply&t=126798 for a bit of pre-event shutter time, then heading up to the site later in the afternoon. Unfortunately I have an earlier appointment I can't shift.

lol, yeah, I've been off work for a while sick and have nothing better to do unfortunately. ;)

like i said, you can take the underground but it takes ages. Heathrow Connect is fast and comfortable and only a little bit more expensive than the tube.
