Thought i'd post it here.
After a team meeting on the 16th Jan the TEAM has decided not to compete in the cpps/masters/nspl series this year.
It comes from the individual financial problems and situations of nearly all of the players and we feel that with out being able to train regularly and commit to a series we cannot give a good account of ourselves when playing against the big boys in the current x ball format.
We have decided to play the format that is closest to home and best value for money/field time which is formula 5. Its still competitive but less emphasis for us on must win and more on have fun. It will allow us to meet up spend a day together and have fun as friends without the stress,strain and commitment level of the x ball format (especially from and organisational point of view)
The players that do have the extra money will be guesting at events and if anyone needs players please feel free to contact me(07919050367) so i can put people in contact. Its a sad time when finance gets in the way of something you love but For a lot of my players times are really tough and we will play this season and have a look towards the end of the season and hope life has become easier for us all.
For now i would like to thank all those that have supported the team over the last few years and still support us even though we are not actively participating in the top format of paintball.
