just a quick check, i am needing some loctite after stripping down my ion reg, forgettting that i dont have any, is it just plain blue loctite that i want?

may seem stupid but what are you planing to loctite on a ion mate? if its the elbow then its ok but why did you take it off?

you are correct, it is for the set screws on the reg, which i do believe that i need thread sealent on since it needs to be air tight. would this be correct?

err if you mean the little screws that you need to take out to strip the reg?? they dont need to be loctited, well every time i have dont mine i have never needed to do it, im very very sure that they are not pressured screws.....

okay its just that the guide that i got some a smart parts tech said that i need to loctite them and they were loctited when i took it to pieces

i have never had to use loctite on any part of a ION
i have done a complete strip on mine over 20 times and it runs sweet as a nut with out.

yeah cheers i took the recomendation and used it without, it works but as soon as i can find some i will be doing it just incase, ps if ya need some new detents, get kila ones, just recived mine and they are fantastic
