Paintball is without a doubt the best thing I've done in a looong time and I'm sure you will all agree. However paintball does cost money, lots of money. Sure I have a job to attempt to pay for the costs but its just not enough and now I really want my own gun.

I figure that if I cash out on a basic starter gun I will be able to go more often as I learn more about paintball itself and the gun. I have looked at gun at great length and do not need to told which gun to buy however I would like to know WHERE to buy it. The gun, paintballs and mayb xtra kit to go with.

If anybody can reconmend a cheap and reliable paintball site available to a guy living in South England I would appreciate it and any other advice.

If you have a site near you that hosts competitions - it may be worth going along and checking out second hand kit. For the price of a starter marker (new) you could probably get something second hand that you would be aiming on getting a few years down the line. Plus they've usually been looked after and tricked out (spare markers and "back-ups").

Bring some paint with you and you can try/check them out whilst you're at it. Plus you get to watch some fun games and meet some of the people on these boards. :D
