Lincoln Storm Young Guns - seeking new players !!

Success breeds Success !!!

Due to our recent success Lincoln Storm are expanding their squad to include a full time Young Gun team.

We currently have a squad of 12 players and are looking for 3 / 4 new players to complete the team.

All we require is commitment - a will to be the best and a dedication to train hard. You must also have your own kit.

We will be holding trials over the next month - so all players who are interested in playing tournament paintball and being trained by the best in the business - i.e Pete "Robbo" Robinson - should reply by PM with a few details on yourself and your experience.

First you could try dropping the STORM part of your name as this name ,is and always will belong to STORM paintball team.
as a member of said team I find it rude that another team can just use our name as part of its team name ,how would it be if say another team started up and used=
birmingham NEXUS
london SHOCKWAVE
essex TIGERS
or come to that a team just started calling themseves by any of the above names,I am sure that those teams would soon kick off about it ????
if you are to be a serious team then an individual name is required,not a name that has in part been stolen from one of the longest running teams in the UK.
this is not supposed to be a flame ,but just a reminder that there is already a team called STORM,and please could you sort yourselves a name that is yours and yours alone.

STORM NAME !!!

That is why, over the past 4 months setting the team up I have met John Sosta and spoken with him and John Bonisch at length, ensuring they are O.K about us using the name.

We are planning to come down and train with Storm Pro, Storm YG and Storm Am at John's farm.

We were originally going to be called Team Mako but after a number of conversations with John it seemed to make sense to pool our resources and have a number of teams under the Storm banner. John has been really cool about this - saying we can be as involved or independent as we like. His only suggestion is that if we become more involved in the Storm set up we change our name to Storm (Lincoln).

It is just the same as any other sports team representing their local area i.e Detroit Thunder in the NXL.

Well as i posted my remarks before speaking to john sosta,and i will hold any further comments untill i have done so,but if you have the OK from our team captain,then i will say no more on the subject ,and maybe who knows you wil become STORM [lincoln]and join our family of paintball,only time will tell.
