I think i read somewhere that you should change your lenses every 2yrs maximum or after any close range direct hit..............of course that happens:p

I do it at least once a year. Manufacturers recommend replacing aftery direct hit too. Very few people I know do this, but if there is any inclination whatsoever for any kind of crack or stress mark anywhere on your lense. It's highly recommended you change it immediately.

totally depends on how much you play a year. Profiler lenses last till the cow's come home and can be washed with water. I've had my current set of lenses for well over a year.

Typically I replace if the thermal goes to pot, there is any sign of cracking or if there are too many scratches.

JT lenses typically have a rubbish life expectancy, always cracking around the nose bridge and the thermal coating is so damn fragile.
