I have just been talking to an uninitiated about vortex fans. He fences and reckons that they have the same sort of stuff, but they dont work. They use anti-fog spray. Anything like that work for Paintballing?

ok, some guys use fans a rave about them, if you want to carry the extra then go ahead. if you only have a standard mask then anti fog stuff like divers use is ok but it will fog up in the rain and when your hot,but just slower. i recommend a thermal or antifog lense, it is a double lense, trust me i played in the rain with my work mates and i had my scott thermal lense and they had site gogs on . they couldnt see ****, so i just kept shootin. what a day.

got a thermal the other day :)

Was just wondering thats all, and some people commented that they still misted in the rain. I've been thinking, you could put in a small element, like the heaters in the windows of cars, to keep them fog free. :D

And what about lenses like the glasses that change colour according to the sun? (ie become darker if it shines with sun)

blimey, now your going some. my scott thermal is about 7 years old nad was seeing english rec ball action 3-4 times a year and only recently after a whole day in the rain did it mist up v.lightly.
but an idea is to get your silica gel packet out of your next pair of new trainers, adapt it so it is like a very tight rollup(but in its original sack or some of it) put a small hole in the bottom of the lense seal insert roll up and reseal. once you get used to the little rollup in the bottom of your lense, you should never steam up.

(i accept no responsability if it doesnt work) only an idea.
