ok this is a newbie question and im asking in here cos i get better responses,
i bought some new gt flex thermal goggals and there great however im haveing real trouble getting the lens out of its socket.i read the instructions and started at the top unhooking all the little peg things untill i got to the ones either side of the nose it was impossible to get em out my fingers were almost dead as it was so stiff to unhook it,there must be somthing im doing wrong as it was very VERY hard to unhook those last 2 clips either side of the nose part on the lens,am i dong somthing wrong?,is there a special tool to use?.i mean i ended up using a lolipop stick to unhook the top lot,but even the power of the lolipop stick was no mtch for the nose hooks on the lens i never got it off:(
please help me
thanks

Nope

Actually you aren't doing anything wrong. Those things are just a real bitch to get off!!! The best thing to do is just work and bend them until the get easier to put off/on. Hope that works.

ok then i'll do my best to try and bend the bit*h into shape, and hopefully the more i do it the easyer it will be,also will all this bendn damage the goggals?,i dont want to break them as soon as i have gt em?,im worried that i may break something trying to do it.
thanks

yeah be careful pitting them in. i changed my smoke lens (that came already fiited) for the spare clear ones and ended up with a cracked lens. didn't think i was being that rough with them either. but they are a real bitch to change.
that was the only good thing about the old brass eagle 280s, piece of piss to change the lenses. shame about the rest of the goggle.

It's like u said, bi****n time. But after the first few times i dis/assembled the thing, it just got easier.

Anyway, 4 the 2 nose clips i try to unhook the lower hook first (try pulling the rubber frame away from the hook & then twist it around the hook). The upper hook is easy then.

2 assemble it again , start by the nose clips, this time squeeze/push the nose section of the rubber frame up into the nose section/bend of the lense, and then try to hook it in the upper hook first. This should be the easier part, as the rubber is still free to move around (just a tad). Now its gonna hurt, 4 the lower hook its the assembling trick in reverse: pull & twist the rubber frame around(/B] the hook.

Don't b discouraged by this ****y description m8. Hope it helps some.
