Legacy to NXL?

Baca Loco

Ex-Fun Police
Reports are out that Gary Shows, owner of Legacy, has bought into the NXL with the intent of putting Legacy in as NXL team number 9.
Leaves one wondering if they plan to play odds all season or add team number 10. Who will be number 10, if there is one?
And what city will be chosen for Legacy to represent?

I was thinking more along the lines of Atlanta or Toronto, ala Miami Effect.

The only thing more ridiculous than the NXL naming scheme is coaching mid-game. Don't get me wrong, coaching is great for the sport of paintball - young and beginning players need all the encouragement they can get - but aren't these professionals we're talking about?

That being said, they're good aspects that X-Ball and the NXL bring to the table - a pro-only league, playing the same field layout, and the idea of having matches, a collection of games.

But I suppose the naming scheme is necessary for the NXL to revolutionize TV as we know it. :p

I got told about 200 big ones, and I asked Renick if I could have a spot and he said 'yes of course you can Pete', I also asked Ren how much and he sed.... 'to you Pete, coz I known u for soo long and u been one of my most loyal of friends, the price is still 200 big ones bucko', I then asked him my final question, 'Ren , can ya lend me 200 grand' ?
'Piss off Brit' in a Chicago accent were the next words uttered :(

I guess Nexus are gonna be playing EXL and NPPL then :)

Holy ****!!!!!

I'm not too familiar with all the details in X-Ball. What kind of service do they provide to justify such expenses? Is it the argument that one day X-Ball will be on televizzle? So before that happens we'll just give our pockets the mumps?

Is it really worth it?

What if no money changed hands?
Don't Gary Shows and his son both work for Dye?
Does anyone feel that dropping 200g into the X-ball at this exact time is an astute finantial decision? Even the banks will give you 10% on that!
Sorry, but prove it, until then, stinky-stinky.
Sounds like a move. If you believe this at face value please send me your telephone numbers, I have some expensive encyclopedia's and sundries I'd like to sell you suckers!
