For a group that size, park row is your best bet - all the chain pubs are along there. Heading towards the train station, hang a left at flares and yet another row of bars and pubs interspersed with takeaways. For the more discerning drinkers among you head up to the top end of town to north bar or sela bar. Doubt you'll get 35 of you in there though - You never know.
Best bet - break yourselves up into groups and stagger your entry to places.
Clubs wise - depends what you're after, Cockpit is all rock at the weekend (my kinda place), You've got oceana which i've been to twice in six years, the 02 academy, walkabout (bar/club), Gatecrasher, Mission etc.
What your best bet is is to do the otley run. Start at woodies in headingley, and have a drink in all 18 pubs going down the otley road into town. Go in fancy dress and you'll have no problems. Usual start is about 3pm and usual finish in a club in town is 4am.

Greasy spoon wise: Wander the area round the train station (go down the steps outside the main entrance, they are in what looks like a turret) and you'll find one. They are all much of a muchness. I'd suggest the hotel food to be honest but haven't eaten their food.
p.s. I live in leeds, and knowing the area i would say your best bet is to do the Otley run. And another thing, taxi wise use royal cars or ambers cars. Do not use the black and whites as they are a rip off!)The hotel should have their number.
