LED and Eyes

Alright,

wierd problem here, but when the Etek 1 is on and the eyes are on, the manual says it should flash yellow for no ball in the breach and blue for ball detected, but when the eyes are on the marker flashes red to indicate no ball in the breach rather than yellow.

It still stays flashing red when I turn the eyes off which is what it should change to from yellow. This does'nt seem to effect the marker in working and is just strange,

any ideas what it could be?

are your eyes disconected by any chance from the bored ?

There are three possible causes:
1. Your eyes are dirty and need cleaning. When your eyes are dirty they will automatically switch off and the led will flash red. Clean your eyes (gently, with a slightly moist q-tip).

2. Your eyes are disconnected from your board. Check the connection on the board, make sure the eyes are in place correctly and are not obscured by dirt/debris.

3. Your eyes are knackered (scratched or bad connection). replace them.

Cheers for the help guys and I tried cleaning it and everything,

the strange thing is the fact that the eyes are still working even though the LED is red, when a ball is in the breach it changes to blue and fires!

I guess I should just leave it as it does'nt seem to affect the marker in any way, just means I can't tell when the eyes are off to de-gas it at the end of the day....

Any more ideas, throw them my way, thanks

have you bought it second hand , or has it got some other bored in it.
