Leaking regulator i think?

Hi,

I have a cheapie Zen 3k 48cl bottle i use as backup. When i took it out my kit bag today at home i noticed i can hear a constant ticking like a watch from the top of the bottle which i can only assume is the regulator leaking.

The bottle currently had around 2k in it, was gonna go get it filled today

Whats the procedure in getting this looked at? Anything i can do Myself?

Ok had a bit more of a look at tits actually coming from the fill nipple. I tried to give it a quick tighten with a spanner but it didnt help.

Where do i go from here?

Stick it in some water and look for bubbles

From the nipple itself will mean the valve isn't sealed. You can remove and clean it / check the o-ring. (But a complete new fill nipple is cheap and simple)

From around the threads you can remove, clear the threads, and replace with new loctite
(Loctite 244 or even ptfe tape, but loctite is better)
