Leaking macroline

Right, currently the elbow going into the reg on my Ego is leaking, not from the threads though, but the from the push in part of it. However, my bottle has roughly 100 psi left, if that. Is it leaking because of the lack of any real pressure to seal or is it all buggered and do I need to replace the elbow/macroline?

Cheers

There is a small oring in the elbow if you have a look up there. Just get some grease on a cotton bud and go around the inside of the elbow. Normally does the trick.

Nope, isn't doing anything :( Plus, I can't seem to remove the elbow, it's loctited in there pretty tight.

It could just be the lack of pressure.

If the macroline has been in there for a while and has been taken in and out a fair bit it could be that it's gotten too rough to seal properly. If you have enough hose (ie - there's a bend in it), you could trim the first couple of mm off the hose and see if that cures it. Works for me 90% of the time. But, as i say, there needs to be enough hose left over after you've trimmed it for it to still reach between the elbows!!!

As for removing the elbow, i'd leave it in unless you "have to take it out" but i'm sure the issue is a simple one.

Ok mate, I'll have to pick up some macroline tomorrow then, I can't really trim any more off. I was hoping it was just a pressure issue, but it's probably about time I changed it anyway, I thin it's the stuff that came on the marker orignally!

Cheers guys!
