Sound as if the noid is either worn or been damaged, possibly by overpressurising from the LPR? They can also leak from gasket that seals it into the housing. It may be fixable but may need stripping down to sort out.

Are you 100% sure the leak is coming from the cocking solenoids? They are not easy to get in UK second hand, and very expensive to buy new. Hoses or barbs sometimes start leaking, and make it difficult to tell exactly where the air is escaping from.

e1 or e2 would help too.

the e1 used to need the gasket reseating every now and then. especially if you put your lpr up a bit too high.

usually popping it apart to check all the o-rings and that it is seated is a good start.

the e1 sol housing was more prone to leaking, ie you took a shot to the front end and it could knock the solenoid enough to cause a hisssssssss :(

There are a few good video guides on dismantling and rebuilding your noid, I've done it after having the noid shot and although it is fiddly it usually sorts things out.

Always worth using a front end cover on a cocker as shots to the noid can be a nightmare and expensive.

If i remember right there was a series of videos on a forum but can't remember which one as it was a year or so ago.

There's also a step by step picture guide in the maintenance section of the e2 manual (page 73) and probably one in the E1 manual but i don't have a link for that. I'm not sure if there is much of a difference between e1 and e2 solenoids.
