I have a 98ish eclipse mini cocker which began leaking at the back of the 3 way. This leak got worse as the day went on and now its constant.....

I took the 3 way apart and check the o rings on the bar were instact and cleaned out all the gunk that was inside.

Problem is its still leaking, short of sending it off to get another fitted anyone got any ideas? Anyone have a diagram of what a 3 way is like inside? It might be missing a seal or something but I have no way of being sure....

What 3 way is it?

I think you need to undo the grub screw from the 3 way colar the adjust the 3 way shaft slightly.

GRRRRRR it'd be so much easier with pics.

Check out Ravi Choppras site on there is a trouble shooting section, that should cover it!

as paul says, it might be to do with the 3way timing.

If the switchpoint on the threeway has moved due to a loose grub screw, then it WILL leak.

Get someone who knows cockers to have a look at it.
It might need retiming (to a degree)

I don't know how this board is for recommending another. I have been looking at several message boards and know of one that is all-autocockers. The people there are very nice and extremely knowledgable about anything and everything 'cocker.

If you want the URL, PM me or post up here. I don't want to post it and then get in trouble for doing so.

Ok,

The web site address is here.

Go to the forums section. I believe you will have to sign up for a new account before you can post, but that doesn't take too long.

They do like a full description of your gun and the issue, that way they know what is going on.
