Just wanted to give a big thank you to everyone who shouted support for us at the World Cup especialy Eclipse and Kelly's who looked superb all weekend, real aggressive ball! Watched the silver fox come out of retirement and kick some ass.
The tournement was once again breath taking. The layout, the shear number of stalls, the luuurvery ladies and the crazy ass kids doing death defying stunts on skateboards, bikes, bmx's and the earthboard things. Oh and man was it ever hot. The marshalling was spot on despite the heat even on Sam Telfers field!
Xball is our first love and because some of the guys are 2004 signings have never played 7-man together. Infact we haven't practiced/played 7-man since last campaign (well one darford-7's). Xball the format is the future and added a complete new side to our game, I just hope it can survive the current organisational troubles.
Anyway great tourney and many thanks for all the support, who knows what could of happened if we actualy practiced before we went!
