LE PMR leaking

I have just bought an 07 LE PRM off of here and it worked fine the other day when i was using it, but i had a few balls left and used them in my back garden and worked fine again. then i had just over a 1000psi left in my tank so i dry fired a little bit and noticed that when if got under around 600psi it started leaking out of the back of the bolt and down the barrel. will this issue be down to the fact that i had hardly any air left?

yeah when you have little air left theres no preasure holding the valve shut so it leaks.. happens on most markers

Its because you bottle is nearly empty mate.
The marker needs a certain amount of pressure to operate correctly and if the pressure in your bottle is too low it wont be enough to keep the internals of the marker where they should be, hence you will get leaks.

cheers for the replies fellas. thought it would be that but wanted to make sure. didnt want to turn up to a site and it not work, i only bought it as a back up for my mini. iv had problms with that aswell but im hoping i can sort it out.
