You can factory reset mate, that'll override it. Just turn it on, then press the 2 internal buttons for 2 secs. That should reset bud.
Hope this helps!

Also, might not be the pin if he's been dicking about with the trigger. It might be that the trigger is set wrong and pulled in too far so that the microswitch is permanantly activated. It wont turn on or go live properly then. (well, if it's the same as the IR3 or A4 anyway, if not, ignore me)

As far as i know the kids not the sort that would go dicking about ripping his marker apart, at least i hope not as hes sat there and watched me curse the hell out of walk ons who have done just that when i was marshalling and expected me to fix there guns.

But i do know hes the curious type and its likely he was mucking about with the settings so hopefully thats all it was.

Cheers anyway guys.:D

lcd probs

it more than likely will be the trigger set wrong but heres a way to tell. when you switch the marker on if there was a pin set up it would ask you to enter it. If the marker displays a load of numbers when you switch it on then its showing you the serial number which means the trigger is set too close to the micro-switch like Andy said, also check there is no crap stuck behind the trigger like shell or stuff coz this will cause the same problem.

Cheers ............. Glen

Have you tried putting in all 0's to unlock it. He may have locked it without putting in a ny numbers.
Other than that it's a trip to lips or wdp, or a new board.

I thought the pin was only for immediate use, stop someone picking it up and firing it? Surely the factory reset would work, even if the markers been nicked they can just get a new board?
