Lazering - anything I should know?

I'm using a lazering machine at my school, it basically does the some as on guns but we use it for plastic.
And is the same as a paintball lazering guy I saw that they use.
I was wondering if I would have to take parts of my marker apart, things like taking solenoid and all that out of the body.
Also would I have to lower how deep the engraving is to use on metal or is it coloured quite deep?

if i was you, id have ago on scrap metal first (same as ur marker hopefully) to make sure everything works.
cant help with the tec bit, but a little practis will go along way.
no use messing up a nice gat

Ask you tech's at school like someone said, chances are is will work on metals too as long as they can be laser engraved.

I have a crappy spider barrel I found under my bed to use, my guess is that it will be settings I'll have play with on the barrel as I don't want it to be too deep.

Which power tube, if it's a Co2?
