lateral wobble on etek2 star frame

very shiny piece of kit this here star frame......

however.....

i find the trigger has an awful lot of lateral wobble. I can work around it fine when shooting right handed, but sucks big time when trying to rip left handed. it moves side ways so much i have found what i think is the back of the trigger catching on the frame somewhere....

anyone know how to cure this? would a tiny washer or o-ring work?

Check that your bearing carrier (the silver block in the top of the trigger frame) is tight by tightening the two screws.

found the problem. the screw at the top of the trigger on the back (presumably screws onto the pin for the bearing?) was pretty well out. screwed in tighter and has pretty much done the job.

Much difference in feel compared to a 07/08? (Rentoncs was zick kitted if i remember right)

shoots pretty much like my old zicked 07, which i preferred to the 08 to be honest, if marginally bulkier around the front with the slightly thicker feeling FRM.
