LaSoya and Salm reunited!

Baca Loco

Ex-Fun Police
At a Denver tourney in the final MSTS event of the year. Playing on a throw together team. Word is Chris has his new Timmy with him, too.
So, kids, what do you think? Does this change your opinion of the whole sniper thing? And more importantly, what do you think of the MSTS allowing a player banned from a national series to play in their event?

... that Lasoya sent a dude to the hospital.

The big news of the day involved a novice player from Yard Dogs All-Stars, who had to be taken to the hospital in an ambulance. In a game between the Yard Dogs All-Stars and Podbitch.com Factory Team, the player from Yard Dogs All-Star came to bunker Chris Lasoya. They exchanged shots and Lasoya’s shots all hit the player in the forehead. The Yard Dogs player then blacked out and fell to the ground. He was lying on the ground for several seconds before he regained consciousness. Lasoya later came over and apologized for the incident. Just to be on the safe side, an ambulance was called and he was taken to the hospital to make sure there wasn’t any damage done, later being released with no problems.
On the Salm being allowed to play thing...
Well he was only banned from the NPPL - so if the MSTS organizers let him play, who are we to argue - guess they really wanted the team of "all-stars" at their event. My opinion is it just makes our sport more like boxing - Tyson is banned in Nevada for trying to be like Hannibal Lechter, and other venues line up for the chance to host his next fight.

Be interesting to see what happens if he wants to play in a Millennium event - sure am glad that I am not on a committe that might have to decide whether or not he can play - oh hold on a second I am :D :D

In my humble opinion it is a no-brainer. All the serious leagues should show how serious they are by respecting the other's suspensions, written agreement or no. The world will turn. A year is not that long.

Ya gotta love Podbitch

Not only do they put Salm in their factory team, they describe tha knockout incident as follows:

Everyone is talking about Lasoya's new gun, the Chrisinator. His new Timmy. People are saying that it is the fastest shooting gun ever! Players are begging to shoot it. It is so fast that Chris actually knocked a fool out by putting 5 shots on his forehead in a fraction of a split second. The player kept losing consciousness and an ambulance had to come get him.

I for one respect Podbitch's 100% commitment to making every single thing they say is controversial as possible - way to go biatches!

Buddha,

I can't speak for the rest of the guys - but my personal opinion is we should honour any suspensions handed down by equivalent leagues and vice-versa.

Only problem is I personally couldn't see the NPPL/PSP/ChuckPPL honouring a suspension handed down by the Millennium committee to any American players.

I think by now all the "major leagues" are looking ways to improve discipline, quality of judging and the image of PB, especially after the recent WC. Therefore some straight communication between the leagues might suffice to get accord on suspensions.

This leads me to a question: How much, if any, co-operation has there been between Millennium and PSP/NPPL? Has there been meetings to co-ordinate and bring uniformity to the rules and disciplinary matters? If not it is high time.

I would gladly volunteer to take care of such a liaison commitee if it doesn't already exist. (Hint, hint.)

Salm.

Thing is, if you don't let him play he'll still come along and have a little game all of his own. Play him and at least y'all know where he is. ;)

I read the stuff on paintball.com abou the the Denver tourney and I nearly pissd myself when I read about the guy muggin LaSoya but losing consciousness. Will there be a Class Timmy?? Will LaSoya start his own team?? Who knows, personally I can't see him leaving 'Lanche, too much emotional attachment.....mind you, does he really care that much??
