Is it something to do with defensive teams being able to cross up more effectively with a shorter field than what they would with a large...?
Define small and large. Back in the day large meant acres. Today a NPPL field is around 180 by 100 while an NXL field is 150 by 125. Does anybody actually play on anything larger these days in a tourney format?
They are Big by todays standards-but what I'm getting at-is some 'teams' can take two or three players out on a run-on a small field-although some fields they can't move cause they got half a hopper on them -suppose that's the difference between am and pro

Small Feilds is where its at. You get crazy moves pulled off, makes the game more exciting.
