Lapping compound in the UK?

Does anywhere know of where to get Lapping Compound in the Uk suitable for use with aluminium. I have quite a tight threading on the breech of a matrix and matrixowner.com recommends using Laping compound to solve the problem.

Car spares places...Valve lapping paste..usually comes in a tin, with coarse on one end, and fine on the other.

Be careful with the paste, you may do it too much or uneven.

The best way to apply it to threads is to use a tap/die that is ever so slightly smaller than the thead, apply the paste and gently turn it in and out a little bit at a time.

Ghetto way would be to get some on a cloth and spin it around with your finger.

If you have touble finding it, go into halfords and ask for valve seating paste(fine).
