Land for pintballin

Hi all.

I am makin a comeback to paintball and plan to attend walk on days at established sites.
Ultimately tho I would love to get hold of some land (wouldnt we all) and set up a site for other walkons in my area to use and play more regularly. The site would obviously be set up properly with netted safe area and chrono etc etc, and would be walk ons only.
I am not talkin about buyin land, just maybe borrowing it for a small fee!!
Has anybody got any advice.

you would need insurancce, and that does cost a small fortune!

mmm, I would get insurance and maybe pay for it via walk ons becoming members and payin subs to cover insurance, or get a disclaimer written up?
I know there is a lot to sort out, its just an idea at the mo'.
Gettin access to some land would be a start!!

Every site i have been to had a massive insurace policy AND disclaimer forms. I dont thik it is a case of one or the other

if you make everyone that plays their become a member, your insurance will be drastically reduced. (i think)

Try the major land owners

Forestry commision (Had some land but not near me)
National trust
English Heritage
Woodland trust

Also try the local farmers union, have not tried that yet though
