KOTH events

i was just wondering as i am thinking about getting a team together for a KOTH. what happens on the days, could someone giv me the lowdown of what goes on, how many games are played each event, what type of format it is. also do you play capture the flag games and as much more info you can give me.

Check out the rules on www.uk-masters.co.uk unless your talking about the southern version, but they should be the same I think.

Helps to know where you are based when answering questions... then maybe we can try and recruit you into our teams

thanks mate but i need a bit more info

can any body answer these questions:

1.how many games are played at each event.

2.what mode do the markers have to be on, like ramping and so on.

ow and btw i live in the midlands.

They try for 10 teams so that would be nine games, always expect between seven and nine.

No ramping is allowed in any of the UK-Masters/KOTH events... semi only

ok thanks that helps. how long does each KOTH event last, all weekend?

All done on Sundays, be ready for 8am to walk fields... finish 4-5pm.

Most sites will allow you to train on the fields on the Saturday, for a fee, and camp overnight for free.

Our Academy team does this event in the KOTH but there is only one left this year after this weekend's

There is a two day Welsh open but our Students will not be able to afford that

Yep, and occasionally the 'Pro tour'... don't know what their schedule is.

There is the Series 2005 :

also KOTH use limited amount of paint, ie;-hopper each and three of the players with a pot each. hope that helps, cheers
