Know anything about fixing an Impulse?

I know i'm going to have issues with this before I start:

Its not my Impulse, but if you have tried all the obvious things like changing the battery and your Impulse won't turn on, no flashing light, nothing, what do you do?

I dont have it in front of me, (as its not mine) so I cant play around with it or answer questions about it, but suggestions would be gratefully received. Thanks in advance, I know its a stretch...

Trial and error is the only way really bud.

Get a voltmeter and check that the board has power going through it.

Check all wires and make sure the elctronics are working.

The battery wires can become damaged internally due to them being coiled up in the frame, test the continuity of the wires, also which board do you have?

No idea on which board it has. Like I say guys its not mine. I am trying to get some info to help a gunsmith fix a gun which doesnt belong to him either. So its a third hand problem. We both have no experience with Impulse markers, so we are struggling. Thanks for all the help though, any more sudggestions would be great.

What if its on the side its an amber/green board, check that the switch carrier hasnt come off the switch, take the frame off and try switching it manually.

Try putting something metal between the + and - contacts on the battery cable for a few seconds.

Mine froze up for a while and doing that sorted mine.
