Amen! Ground Pounders (Groin Pounders to some) are the best pads I've ever used. I recommend the Pro Sliders; padded slide shorts with inbuilt knee protection, so there's no chance of your pads coming down and the fact that its fitted skin tight to your leg means it feels like you're not even wearing them. You should definately consider getting a pair if you're planning on sliding alotgroundpounders
Just to clarify so there's no confusion, Ground Pounders are made by Empire.Amen! Ground Pounders (Groin Pounders to some) are the best pads I've ever used. the pads on them look fairly thin i think, more like the other empire pads range, prefer the groundpounders, can slide into anything and not really feel it!!Amen! You shouldn't kneed 6 inches of padding dude, unless you're pulling off Double Knee Slides every game, in which case yeah, I recommend you get the normal Ground Pounder knee pads as they're thicker and more padded. I used to wear knee pads over the top of my slide shorts, but realised that it wasn't necessary for methe pads on them look fairly thin i think, more like the other empire pads range, prefer the groundpounders, can slide into anything and not really feel it!!
