Knee pad suggestions

Im looking for advice on what knee pads to purchase, now firstly I have tried JT Skinz in size L/XL and also Empire Gel again in size L/XL these seem to be the very top of their sizes. They don't fit the upper knee / thigh area very well for me and as such are painfully tight. Does anyone make larger than L/XL ?

Please only post up you experiences / suggestions.

I got some proto ones from off here (I think!) and they seem to be a nice big size, and i'm not a small chap
